Where beer is King

An independent micropub specialising in good beer.

Open since 2014, we’re a friendly, neighbourhood pub aiming to give everyone a warm welcome. Based in Coronation Buildings, Daybrook, directly opposite the Home Ales Brewery building, we are steeped in Nottingham’s brewing history.

With the feel of a parlour bar - like being in someone’s front room - conversation is king, along with the beer, of course. Dog and family friendly.

Events Pub location Get in touch

Serving an ever-changing selection of cask and craft beers, our focus is on quality from independent breweries and suppliers near and far.

Our large, traditional cellar gives us plenty of space to keep variety across the taps. We aim for the perfect range of real ales across the four hand pumps including pale, amber and dark beers. The four keg lines are for something different such as strong IPAs, sours, imperial darks and lagers.

We also have traditional ciders/perries, wine, gin and soft drinks - there’s something for everyone!

Customer Feedback

  • A very welcoming and unique, small but hidden, jewel right next(across the street) to the old Home Brewery. The place is full of people most of the time. The bartenders and staff are welcoming and there is plenty of novelty waiting for the wanderer inside. An overall beautiful atmosphere and something one may call the authenticity of the city.

  • Smashing micropub always 4 good beers Couple of ciders and wine. Soft drinks are also available. Quiz night and other themed nights are on Through the month.

  • This pub could not be more friendly. A lovely community pub which is very dog friendly. Fairly priced real ale and cider is carefully chosen and if you are lucky the owner’s home brew may also be on offer. Be prepared for a conversation with regular visitors.

  • Wonderful micro pub ran by a lovely couple. Great beers and nibbles!
