Where beer is King
Open since 2014, we’re a friendly, neighbourhood pub aiming to give everyone a warm welcome. Based in Coronation Buildings, Daybrook, directly opposite the Home Ales Brewery building, we are steeped in Nottingham’s brewing history.
With the feel of a parlour bar - like being in someone’s front room - conversation is king, along with the beer, of course. Dog and family friendly.
Our large, traditional cellar gives us plenty of space to keep variety across the taps. We aim for the perfect range of real ales across the four hand pumps including pale, amber and dark beers. The four keg lines are for something different such as strong IPAs, sours, imperial darks and lagers.
We also have traditional ciders/perries, wine, gin and soft drinks - there’s something for everyone!

Join the Book ClubNext Meetup: July 30, 2026
Going strong since 2023, Book and A Beer is an informal book social run in partnership with Tim Beeden (ex-BUK bookshop in Arnold).
Tim picks the books, we read them and then meet up in the pub to chat about them. No tricky questions, no formal talks - just chatting with other readers over a beer (or other drink of choice!).
Oh and Lucy usually rustles up a snack inspired by the book! Regularly attracting 20+ people, it's proving to be a winning formula.
This time we are reading...
Danny Scott
Funny and poignant, THE UNDISPUTED KING OF SELSTON shines a light onto a forgotten industry and the dark shadows that wormed their way into the families who got left behind.
