It is illegal to sell alcohol to any person below the age of 18 in the UK. By placing an order with us, you are confirming you are over 18 or over. This age restriction also applies if you are buying alcohol for any other person and the responsibility for this lies with the person buying the alcohol.
Click and collect orders must be collected by a person aged 18 or over. We use the Challenge 25 policy for all customers. We reserve the right to cancel the order if the age and identity of the recipient is in doubt.
We aim to ensure all details of products on our website are correct at all times. However, changes and errors can occur and details are subject to change.
Our stock changes every week. We reserve the right to withdraw and replace online stock items whenever necessary. If an item is no longer in stock, we will offer a suitable replacement or a refund.
If you are unhappy with a product we have supplied, we are happy to offer a refund if you notify us within 14 days of the order being received. Cans, bottles and minikegs must be returned to us. Refunds will be issued to the card used for payment once the items have been returned.
When you make a purchase from The Abdication micropub webshop, you consent to us recording, holding or using your personal data. This personal data will be kept in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.
We will ask for your permission to use personal detail for marketing purposes, for example, if you opt into our mailing list during the checkout process. It will be clearly indicated how you can consent to this and you will have the option to opt out of any future communications at any time.
We will not pass your details onto any third party.
The Abdication micropub webshop does not store any of your personal financial information. All debit and credit card payments are handled by the secure iZettle payment gateway. You can review their terms and conditions here.
All data is handled, used and stored in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Any agreement to share personal data with us has a consumer consent first (opt in); it is no longer the responsibility of the consumer to request data are not used (opt out). Consumers also have the right to ask for details of any data stored as well as requesting removal.
Data used for click and collect orders are stored on our email server and in the iZettle dashboard and are only accessible by staff via password protected software.
Names and billing addresses are stored for processing the order and to allow a thorough investigation of any order-related queries. This information can be removed on request. It is not stored in any physical form.
Credit and debit card details are stored by the iZettle payment gateway and not on our website. These details are not accessible by any staff.
Email addresses or telephone numbers for receipts are only taken in the pub with consent. They are stored by the iZettle payment gateway and are not directly accessible by staff. iZettle can be contacted for the removal of this data and their policies can be viewed here.
